Getting started
How do I get started?

Open Telegram and search for @FilsUAEBot, or tap the "Open in Telegram" button on this site. Send /start to begin. The bot will ask you to confirm your consent to data processing, then walk you through setting your monthly budget limits by category. The whole setup takes about two minutes.

Once setup is complete, you're ready to scan your first receipt — just forward a screenshot or photo directly to the bot.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Save Vibe runs entirely inside Telegram. If you have Telegram on your phone — which the vast majority of UAE residents do — you're ready to go. No App Store, no sign-up form, no password.

Your spending dashboard is available at fils.me in any browser.

Is it really free?

Yes. The Basic tier is free with no time limit. You get 20 receipt scans per month, budget tracking, and runway calculation. That's enough to get a clear picture of where your money goes.

If you want unlimited scans, daily summaries, and pattern insights, Gold is AED 19/month — less than one Talabat order.

Scanning receipts
How do I scan a receipt?

Forward any receipt screenshot or photo directly to the @FilsUAEBot chat in Telegram. That's it. The bot extracts the store, amount, date, category, and individual items automatically and confirms back to you within a few seconds.

You can forward screenshots directly from your gallery, from Talabat or Noon confirmation screens, or take a photo of a paper receipt and send that.

Which platforms and stores are supported?

Save Vibe handles receipts from all major UAE platforms and retailers including:

  • Food delivery: Talabat, InstaShop, Deliveroo
  • Grocery: Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose, Monoprix, LuLu, Choithrams
  • Online retail: Noon, Amazon UAE, IKEA UAE
  • Transport: Careem
  • Pharmacy: Boots, Life Pharmacy

If your receipt doesn't match a known platform, the bot will still attempt to extract the key details and categorise it as best it can.

Does it work with Arabic receipts?

Yes. Save Vibe handles both Arabic and English receipts natively. Mixed-language receipts work too — many UAE receipts show both. You don't need to do anything differently.

What if the photo is blurry or the receipt is crumpled?

The AI is reasonably tolerant of imperfect images — angled shots, dark lighting, and some crumpling are all handled. If the image is too unclear to extract reliably, the bot will tell you and ask you to try again with a clearer photo.

For best results, try to capture the full receipt with the total amount visible.

What if I make a purchase without getting a digital receipt?

You can enter transactions manually using the /spend command — for example, cash purchases or in-person transactions where you don't have a receipt. This is coming soon.

Budgets & runway
How do I set my budgets?

During onboarding via /start, the bot walks you through setting monthly limits for each category — Groceries, Food Delivery, Transport, Shopping, Home Services, and Pharmacy.

You can update your limits at any time by sending /budget.

What is runway and how is it calculated?

Runway is the number of days until your balance reaches zero at your current spending rate. It's calculated from three inputs:

  • Your current balance — entered via /balance 24500
  • Your fixed costs — rent, utilities, subscriptions entered during setup
  • Your variable spend — captured automatically from receipts

Save Vibe combines these to calculate your daily burn rate and projects forward. The number on your dashboard shows exactly how many days your money will last at your current rate.

You don't need to connect a bank account. You enter your balance manually — which means you stay in control of what the app knows.

How do I update my balance?

Send /balance followed by your current balance to the bot. For example: /balance 24500

You don't need to update it every day — once a week or after salary is enough to keep the runway calculation meaningful.

Dashboard
Where is the dashboard?

Your spending dashboard is at fils.me. Open it in any browser — it works on mobile and desktop.

The first time you visit, the bot will send you a login link. No password required.

What does the dashboard show?

The dashboard shows your current month's spending across all categories, your budget position, your financial runway (days until balance hits zero), your cumulative spend chart, and your savings goal progress.

As you scan more receipts, the picture becomes sharper. The pattern engine identifies recurring habits and calculates the saving available if one thing changes.

Privacy & data
Does Save Vibe connect to my bank?

No. Save Vibe never connects to your bank account. All data enters the system through receipts you choose to scan, or information you enter manually (balance, fixed costs). Nothing is automatic, nothing is taken without your action.

Who can see my spending data?

Your data is stored in an encrypted database. Access is restricted to the Save Vibe team for operational purposes. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or provide it to financial institutions.

We will not claim "we cannot see your data" — encryption is not end-to-end, and we won't lie about that. What we commit to is that we do not look at your data except to operate the product, and we never will use it against your interests.

How do I delete my data?

Send /delete to the bot. This permanently deletes all your transactions, budget settings, savings goals, and your account record. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
